Speculating about the results of karma was unconjecturable according to the Buddha.
Hi Aloka-D,
I am not speculating about the result of the karma. I am saying that I see the result of the karma, but I do not speculate or conjecture on the cause(working out) of the karma.
I agree with the sutta where it said "The [precise working out of the] results of kamma.." should not be conjectured.
If we take Buddhism terms out of my post, what I am saying is that
"I see that these people are homosexuals. I know that they are homosexuals for a reason. I do not know what the reason is. So there is no reason to treat them differently than non-homosexual people. Because non-homosexual people are not homosexual for reasons that I cannot fathom either."
While I agree with some of Mr. Mcleod's article, I do not agree with some others. But since this thread is about LGBT and not karma, I will refrain from making comments about his articles here.
