Regardless of the exact number, which I personaly feel is irrelevent as an exact count, it is clear that the overall goal was to free all beings from the suffering of Samsara.

I agree

Just as there are different illnesses, there are different kinds of medicines

Suffering comes in many forms, just as physical illness comes in many forms

The medicine one seeks will accord with one's perceived needs

May all beings be free from sufferings
