What is that supposed to mean? Chimps kill large animals and eat them. Gorillas kill insects and eat them. That's how they get their vitamin B12, which is essential for survival. Humans can't get it from plant foods either, so they kill and eat things with legs too. They've been doing that for some 2000000 years now. Buddhism is 2500 years old. Humans have opposing thumbs which enables them to tear apart animals with their hands rather than teeth -- and just like the chimps they are tool users, i.e., they kill with spears and other things.
