I think I'm correct in saying that the majority of people do have some fear of death so you could consider this to be a normal human response.

Are you fearfull of what will happen tomorrow as that is also the unknown?
Perhaps it should not be " a normal human response" it rather should be a traditional human reponse and certainly is not a Buddhism response .
Fear of the un-known is still major part of my pollutant due to my desire or expectation in my "life" , not just what will happen tomorrow infact is every second of my life there must have some kind of fear , fear to receive bad news related to myself , love one , in business etc ..........thats is me , who is currently full of pollutant , that is why I am here .....to learn to understand and be able to ease if not to be free of it .

But i theory of Buddhism that I am currently undestand , if only I could FULLY accept all living or non-livings including me or all my love one is same and equal....perhaps I will be less "suffering".
