More like if the Buddha didn't teach it, he didn't teach it. An inconvenient truth for you.



When the Buddha spoke of attachment to views, he meant speculative views and superstitions. The Buddha was clear in his intent that his own teachings be preserved intact and not hijacked and bastardized.
An attachment to a view is just that. One's own experience is the proof, not words in a book.
