Why are you specifying informal fallacies, if I might ask?

Informal fallacies are the most common types of "ground rules" referred to on this (and other) Buddhist debate and discussion website. For examples, do an internal search here for terms like "straw man" and "ad hominem," "slippery slope," and "begging the question."
