I would suggest that the "Problem" with Buddhism to day is that Westerners,and more and more Asian's that we want everything instantly.
With this attitude it's not too surprising that we don't have time to question our beliefs.
The Suttas in translation are available to anyone,and to say that the printed word and the degregation of the language is a problem is only a so if we cling to the printed word and don't get behind the language.
