@Ramabadran Sir,

Thank you very for your encouraging message. I only wish I had many more encouragement messages of this nature. You can see my postings give me the same feeling as flopping Tamil movies that don't meet their targets at the box office.

I know that Chennai forums should be successful In functioning mainly as discussion platform for members to interact rather than being a boring news bulletin. I sit and write what I observe or the experience I have in my life that was not bed of roses.

When I went abroad four and half decades ago I went with a little black bag as you may have already read about. I have washed cars in most London's second hand sales companies, worked as waiter in Wimpy restaurants in Leicester Square, cleaned carpets at Selfridges on London's Oxford Street, had worked in a Jewish restaurant cleaning huge pots and pans to finance my own education abroad.

All because the socialist regime took over all our land under land reform laws. I had to temporarily go from riches to rags but I never felt I had hit the canvas. Today I have my own house our own advertising business and get a decent German pension and I could have had more but I was content to be frugal and happy to be down on earth.

Since, I was born in Tamil Nadu I thought I would participate in sharing my life's experience with my countrymen so that they could know that “if there is a will there is a way”

Often I am talking to myself in an empty hall and wonder why I don’t have an audience. I have lot more of my adventures. One of that was when I went to Southern France to be exact it was in Monaco and got stuck without money even for a cup of coffee.

God always was following me and led me into the premises of an Italian circus “Moira Orfei” stationed in Monaco. I found a job there for 8 weeks that was left of my summer vacation from my college in London.

Beggars can’t choosy but when you get paid to work I thought why not give it a go? I moved with them from one city to city to another every three days. At the end of eight weeks I had my pocket full of Italian Lira still worth a few hundred British pounds that was enough for two months board and lodging in London.

That’s for now but I will come back even if it’s only just for you with more. Thank you once again Ramabadran Sir!
