I was told I had to have a woman saint.

Is this strictly true? I always thought (perhaps wrongly) that all the Greek Dimitras and Nikoletas were named after, and celebrated, the corresponding male saint (and conversely that the Panagiotis's were named after the Panagia). But as I say, I may have got this all wrong.

Not that you could have chosen a better name than the one you have.
