Does anyone know the meaning of the Latin term: a parte potiori? Fr. Raphael,
This from the Cowan dictionary of abridged lunacy...
A parte potiori
: a gathering of people on the back
porch
for the purpose of fun fellowship and the burning of hot dogs.
ex. The priest had
a party on the potiori
and burned the hot dogs since he usually only ate veggies. I hope this helps your research. It took a while to find this in the annals of my mind. If however the real definition is a purely spiritual one, please forgive the lunacy.
