To combine some previous statements you should handle the situation based on your own feelings. If you do not find her to be attractive you should try and let her down easily. If you do however find her attractive, and her personality is attractive as you say then you should tell her that. Be honest, and don't hide anything. Trust me, the longer a relationship lasts the more likely hidden feeling will be figured out. If it's not meant to be you should be able to tell beforehand.
