You should expect Microsoft to have made very easy things complicated to do. Basically they went with the mentality that anything 'complicated' (simple things) should be hidden VERY WELL from the user! So when setting your PC up is going to be a trial of wits, as you navigate your way through annoying setup wizards in an attempt to do something that would take about 10 seconds to do through the advanced settings.

That's Vista in a nutshell. Oh, and it's a cow.
