Hello.

I am new to this forum. I found it because I did a search for "heard a voice" after earlier this week I heard a voice speak into my ear when I was definitely awake and alone.

It was a male voice. The voice sounded friendly. I was very surprised but did not cry out. Just gasped a little.

I have no idea if I am starting to be schizophrenic, or if this is a split off aspect of myself, or if it is a ghost, or if it a being from another plane.

I have a meditation practice and had a particularly good session the day before.

What the hell is going on? PS I am in my mid 20s.
