I lost my dad when I was 14. From the age of 16 up to about 20 I used to hear a voice call my name. Usually when I was sitting quiet and reading or something. The voice was always female. And so real I would always look up and say "what?" I'd often go looking for my mum, thinking she'd called me. She'd always say no and wasn't the kind to play practical jokes. After I started going to a spiritualist church, I never heard that voice again.

I think it's someone just trying to get your attention.
