Something similar also happened to me Mandy.. ok here goes this may sound nuts to some but one morning just after meditation and Tai Chi in the park, I stood under the trees and gazed at the grass, the sun was up and there was extremely light rain, as I gazed at the grass for a moment I felt like was tuning in somehow and could actually hair the grass. It sounded like a high pitched noise, they were excited and happy for this light rain and sun at the same time.. then I heard the trees laughing and clapping at the grasses excitment and joy..

Yep I know it sounds alittle out there but this is what happened & boy was it a wonderful experience.

So I believe that you are picking up on sound coming from a different frequency.. pehaps angels
