I also have a shaman drum song that I listen to...mine is to increase my vibrations to a higher level to communicate with spirits of light. I'm not sure why you would want to go to the lower levels either? If you state your animal totem/guide is there I have to disagree. Our guides come from a higher source not from a lower one.

I would be careful who is guiding you and make sure they are of the light. Ask them and if they can't answer with a positive then I'd tell them to move on and go away.
