Hi Dawn, Ive not really had any experience of spirit animals, but I would say that the cat is just coming back to a place that they loved and perhaps like your latter post he is there to be with your other cat to aid in the process or healing?

Im not sure whether it is David Wells or Gordon someone that wrote a book animals...bare with me *googling*......Gordon smith thats him but cant seem to find the books now :S perhaps it was neither hmmmm *googling*.... just found this not sure how good it would be but worth a try to get a bit more knowledge - Pet Ghosts: Animal Encounters from Beyond the Grave by Joshua P.
