For me awakening means being more aware of what is happening behind the "veil" and of all the illusion that you used to think was reality. I barely live in the real world any more and am so astonished at what is really going on. It is like becoming a CIA agent or Secret Service agent and you finally know all the secrets that are kept from the knowledge of citizens.
Instead of seeking the guidance from your guides it is a constant stream of dialogue. Meditation is not as necessary (although I still do it) as you are almost always in a very zen, quiet mind state. Love is in everything you do and your heart chakra opens up tremendously. You realize all the magic that really exists and that the limits you thought existed really don't. There are some scary things too in getting more information. Not that there are scary entities or big scary events but at how completely unreal reality really is. The scary part, for me anyway, comes when you think about your loved ones in relation to all of that. I was talking to someone about this. They were telling me about the movie
The Nines
. Without giving away the movie, it basically related our current reality to one giant drug trip. Like the reality if you were to take shrooms or acid but to a much greater, real feeling, way. It would be like our energies being addicted to this Earth experience but it all really isn't real...just an induced state. Deep stuff like that
