I'm new to this forum so hello first of all!

I felt that I might have some type of heightened awareness of things when I was 14. I'd get an overwhelming sense of things and then feel like I was outside of my body and that I would see things play before my eyes like a movie, but I could still see everything around me. Then the sound would fade out and I'd hear this sort of humming sound and would feel like I was being pulled away and then I'd get scared and snap back. When I would have these episodes, I became very nervous and would think something was wrong, although deep in my mind I knew I had something special, I didn't want to accept it and eventually the episodes occured less frequently.

Well, recently, I've been having very vivid dreams that feel all too real - like I'm living in another dimension.

I'm starting to see people that no one else sees. I was driving into work with my husband and saw a man sitting under a tree reading abook and he just didn't look like he belonged in this time. I'd say he looked like he came right out of the turn of the century. I brushed it off and then I saw the man again yesterday and asked my husband if he saw him and he said no. It was just odd.

Last week while cooking dinner, I left a cabinet partially opened and thought to myself, to close the cabinet, then maybe 2 minutes later, it just closed. When it did close though, it sounded like it was being sucked closed and not shut closed...if that makes sense.

I don't know what to make of all this, but maybe someone can shed some light on what is happening.
