Hey Jcarr, well i can say from the start that you need not worry about you getting across to them because they will always hear you. The louder you speak to them the louder they will speak back, i don't mean shouting though lol. If you ever doubt, just ask them to show you a sign of their presence.

Don't force anything to happen, believe me, i know it can get frustrating but you just have to trust that everything will come in due time and any negative thinking is only going to offset, so try and keep a positive deposition.

I don't mean to lecture but don't ponder over what you don't have but what you have been blessed with, chances are, a lot of these gifts people on these forums have will come your way too. What Raven suggested in regards to the Reiki is really good if you have access to that.

Let it flow and don't stress, it will be good
