thanks, light-of-spirit. that makes a lot of sense. although i do lots in the way of protection and i remind myself that i shouldn't be afraid, i do still have some fear sometimes. especially at night, but it's tough when you live alone and there's no one there to hold onto if you get freaked out late at night

i constantly see little flashes of white light, which i'm guessing are spirits? if i start acknowledging them, will they maybe show themselves to me more fully? or are these not spirits?

it's ironic, because i think i'll lose the fear once i feel more knowledgeable and in-control about this, but it seems like it's the fear that's holding me back, so it's a vicious circle. i guess i'm afraid i'm too inexperienced to deal with a strong and/or negative spirits. i know i should trust my protection and especially my guides, but sometimes it's hard. funny, i didn't fully realize how much i am still afraid until you mentioned it, but you're right on. thanks
