Default classroom experience
Since a few members are back in class, I thought I would share this experience.

I absolutely love my English Comp. Professor. He is older, very enthusiastic, and very animated. He exudes the kind of energy that states loud and clear “Yes, I want all of you to succeed.” So I feel fortunate to be in his class.

The first week in class, he was explaining something through an analogy and I was thinking “he should use sports, such as football for an example.” Sure enough, in his next sentence he uses football as an example. The same thing happened the following week. I was thinking of something and he verbalized what I was thinking. Last week, we were working on essays and he pointed out a sentence that was structurally incorrect. I was thinking “but it could be correct if you added a colon and another word to the sentence.” Before I could put my hand up to mention this, he stated exactly what I was thinking.

Perhaps there just might be a little bit of mental telepathy going on, or maybe it is just a mutual love for the English language and the beauty that can be created through the written word. What ever it is, I am amazed by it and wonder if I have also stated out loud exactly what he was thinking.

I am curious if anyone else has had a similar experience.
