If it is mediumship then maybe they feel like i wouldnt beable to conciously handle their presence, im not sure how id react if i were to be conciously aware of it at the time. Many mediums can't recall anything about what is said or done during a session--case in point, Edgar Cayce. Blackouts like this can have other causes as well, however. I take it you've checked into side effects of medications, etc., and you've been getting adequate sleep?
