seems as if your meditation has opened you to receiving messages that will help you grow and understand. My first impression before opening the links that capnstruggler provided was this is a spirit of good intent. The more I google, the more I am finding messages that are telling us that we need to rethink and restructure how we are going about our everyday lives and the need to take better care of this Earth.

first and foremost, always trust your instinct. If you were frightened/shocked, then there was reason. If this is of good intent, you will feel it so on another occassion. I think you coming across the kit was a way for the spirit to affirm what you received through meditation
