i was in the bathroom one time, and i decided to play with my heart chakra. so i stretched out my arms and made it spin faster and faster and faster with my eyes closed and i poured white light into it and then i made it explode and expand, and when i opened my eyes, the whole room had green light in it. i tried it with the yellow chakra and it worked, btu not as well. and ive done it with the green chakra one other time and it worked the same. i do it in front of a mirror though. i think it helps.
