I've not heard of adults remembering, but I have heard of several occassions where a small child tells their parents that they remember choosing them, which I think is a powerful thing. I've read about this several times, which (for me) solidifies that it has something to it as the people were from different places, didn't know each other, etc.

I always wonder *why* my kids would choose me as their mother. I can only think they must have needed to learn to deal with difficult people in this lifetime!
