God has shown His mercy to Father Ephraim! But let us keep him in our prayers for he has not yet been acquitted. His persecutors can put him back behind bars. Let us also pray for his persecutors to be converted and repent of the evil they have done.

I would add that Orthodox people in Russia are grateful to Father Ephraim for bringing the belt of the Theotokos to this country. May God bless him and the whole of Mount Athos!

It was such a beautiful gesture of Geronta Ephraim to bring the belt of the Theotokos to Russia. Surely the evil one despised this move, and wanted to destroy him for it...but he will never succeed. May God bless the Holy Mountain and bless Russia!
