Metropolitan Kyrill of Smolensk and Kalinigrad has been elected Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia. Metropolitan Philaret of Minsk withdrew and asked those who would have voted for him to vote for Metropolitan Kyrill. The voting was 508 for Metropolitan Kyrill and 160 for Metropolitan Kliment. The new Patriarch is aged 62. God grant him many years!
