Dear Andrew,

What the purpose of the cars is, is clear to me. But there are some rules for the Athos and one was that there were no cars and other worldy items let in. Is the next step that they will have tanks, radar, rockets and so on? Perhaps television for the pilgrims and a McDonald's on every corner????????????

What has happened to the monastic ideals???

What is happening at the Holy mountain???
