Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Matthew 18:10 Take heed that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that in heaven their angels always see the face of My Father who is in heaven.

Matthew 18:14 Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.

Luke 17:2 It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

So says the Incarnate Lord.

Perhaps our compassion and charity has failed those who are driven to take this path; but, of course, in the west we have a society in which this can be seen as a 'life-style' choice; for the little ones there is no 'life'.
