Antonios,

Yes, we certainly need to remember our departed, especially the innocents who have died as victims of "violence".

At the Liturgy yesterday our priest served a panehida(sp) so many of us participated in prayers for Mercy that you with compassion address in your post #62.

Let us also remember all other victims of violence and ignorance in our world, today. In praying to the Theotokos, whose birth has saved us from the curse of our own personal arrogance, pride and rebelliousness.

May our Merciful Lord Jesus Christ have mercy upon me a sinner, and upon us all!

p.s. It seems that my long, lost "link" to Casual and personal conversations has been found! How? Only God knows! It is His doing, My He be praised and glorified!
