Default Weather bug
Father A. Bless
Our prayers are with you.

I was wondering if anyone saw the Image of the day on the Weather Bug "popup"?
It's of the Crab Nebula. I was wondering if there is any Church history that mentions it? The write up they give is as follow's:
"The Crab Nebula, filled with mysterious filaments, is the result of a star that was seen to explode in 1054 AD. This spectacular supernova explosion was recorded by Chinese and (quite probably) Anasazi Indian astronomers. The filaments are mysterious because they appear to have less mass than expelled in the original supernova and higher speed than expected from a free explosion....In the nebula's very center lies a pulsar, a neutron star rotation, in this case, 30 times a second."

Of course the thing that pricted my ears was the 1054 explosion. Hummmm???

Any thoughts, other than "don't try to find things that pertain to God in things that don't"?

Hope springs eternal!
Christ is in our midst!
