With a comment like "I strongly doubt that there is an original product in Thailand" it sounds like you're trolling to be honest. Nowy has explained the correct meaning of it already. There is nothing about copying pages or booklets in that passage - it starts off with a quote about not copying farangs and doing things your own way, then describing about how 'farang' style is regarded as modern and stylish nowadays and how people are afraid of being mocked or labelled as 'Lao' if your music is 'Thai style' instead.
IF the text is indeed about copying fahrang music style and the reader should instead find his unique/Thai style, I give you the benefit of doubt and apoligize about the misreading.

But I have seen the same text on VCD's (mostly Mor Lam VCD's) and I don't see how the meaning could be not to copy fahrang style music.

Where does it say that ? ÍÂèÒä»·ÓµÒÁ½ÃÑè§Áѧ¤èÒ means "don't do things like 'farangs' do them" (implying - find your own unique/Thai style instead) not "don't copy everything like those 'farangs' do " "don't copy everything like those 'farangs' do" says enough about the writer.
He should have a walk on the night bazaars or Shopping Mall's everywhere in Thailand and have a look at the products I named.

I don't know why you seem so keen to be insulted by something that you say yourself you don't understand the meaning of! I'm not insulted by something I don't understand, but I feel rather insulted when the writer finds it useful to use the word "fahrang" and link that word with the BAD behavior of the fahrangs to copy everything.

First, there are a lot of other, more apropriate words like foreigner or alien to describe a non-Thai.
Second, the writer should not make a link to a bad behavior of the rest of the people on this earth while they are doing themselves the same in 10-times worse.

But this is my personal opninion.
