I have a hotel booking in Bangkok for 18th of May for 2 days for shopping, I arrive in Thailand on the 9th. I would hope that it will all be sorted by then. You could always do a bit of research of what you would like to see in Thailand and once you arrive at the international airport, just jump on a domestic flight.....and off you go.
