Three weeks ago, I didnt like the thought of going to Thailand in what is supposed to be the hottest time there. Now that ime back l can say for me it want all that bad.
OK we had a car with aircon, hotels with aircon, but that was about it.
The rest of the time, it was put up with it as the Thai's do. Maybe in my favour was that the weather in our part of Australia has been at times fairly hot.
While there l dressed in light loose clothes, wore open type sandles etc, even had a broad rim gentlemans hat, it was not all that bad.
On the other hand, my Thai wife didnt like the heat at all, saying "cant live in Thailand any more, too hot". I think a good part of the problem is she works here in aged care and disability care in building with air conditioning.
Oh while l think of it, l didnt try warm drinks as discussed earlier, but at times had my fair share of nice cold LEO cans.
