is it safe for Thai lottery winners to appear in public? as far as I know, most winners in the west refuse to be mentioned by name let alone be interviewed and appear in public, often they hide the money in a bank account and continue working for a while and don't tell anyone until arrangements are made to "disappear" seamlessly into a better life.
