I would say it is definately a clash of cultures about different looks being attractive, it interesting how often farang comes up as being racist as well, i know it isnt at all but i think it is going to be an issue with white people for quite a long time who do not understand it meaning anything other than white person. maybe it is to do with our cultures being very much against views labeling races with slang in a relaxed manor...
