Those reports do not mention which provinces or roads have been the most affected, in the past 1-2 years these activities were frequently reported in Ayutthaya as Surawut's post, others provinces: Phratumthani – Bangpahan, Suphanburi, Lopburi, NakhonPrathom, Saraburi - Lomsak, PrachuapKhirikan, Chumporn, SuratThani, etc. Those throwers could be robbers or copycats.

I have heard of this crime, stone throwing for long time but it was not so frequently happened as in the past 1-2 years. I used to drive to ChiangMai frequently, I was warned to becareful stone throwing attack on the main road between Thern - Lampang, luckily it didn't happen to me and I didn't drive at night.
