Seriously though, last October I was driving between Surat Thani and Krabi at about 10:30pm. I stopped at a sub Police station somewhere around Phra Saeng to ask directions.

The Policeman pointed me towards the road I needed to take and warned me to go slow and with extra care because there had been three reports of vehicles that had been struck on that stretch of road.
