Coma, good advice about the lotion, you don't get that blistering heat shimmer you get at the Aussie beaches, but at the end of the day you will be cooked.
Only have to look at the Latitudes to get an idea, very similar here as in Townsville or Cairns.
In Phuket similar to Darwin.
