Old ladies still go home from the market in a samlor. You also see these very old men at festival parades and sometimes carrying around tourists. I don't think they will last very long though.]
I have seen one peddling around CM the passenger seat loaded with bags of polythene, plastic bottles and drinks cans-obviously given up trying to compete with the tuk-tuks.
A few days later I saw one several miles outside the city heading towards it. We were going in the opposite direction and soon passed a recycling centre. Probably the same old man.

Cruising around in a samlor is a far more relaxing way of seeing the sights than being hurled around at max speed by a tuk-tuk driver who thinks he is Michael Schumacher/Jenson Button/Louis Hamilton
