Living in a country that went Decimal 38 years ago and changed from 240 pennies in the poun to only 100 pennies in the pound experience tells me that all prices would be rounded up.

I didn't know they went decimal only 38 years ago. Having grown up with decimal (Germany) I find it frustrating that here in the US not more progress is being made.

Besides prices are not only marked with 25 and 50 Satang, you can find prices with any number of Satangs. And if you don't want Satangs then you don't have to accept them in your change. Another thing I didn't notice or pay attention to. Looks like you have a lot more Thai experience than I do. I wished I could go back one more time but with a power wheel chair that is no longer feasible.
