Thank you for sharing, TD. Personally I have never believed fortune telling. A skilled teller has a lot of techniques to influence those who are naive. They often use cold reading (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cold_reading) to obtain information from us and rephrase it so that we believe they have some insight into our lives. They will make general statements and believers will buy the hits and ignore the misses. I would prefer to steer clear of them.
When we were in Pattaya a fortune teller did tell my wife she would get married to a farang and get very wealthly because of that. Actually thats what she told everyone, I guess thats why she did have many customers

As for my wifes prediction 50% isnt that bad
