Really? I have to assume therefore that my wife and many of the girls I know aren't really Thai then. I know more girls in Thailand with round faces rather than thin...

Original Thai girls have kinda round face ka. (ya can see from those ladies in old times) By thin, perhaps, they mean shape? Isaan ladies have round face with bigger jaws and higher cheekbones (i somehow find that attractive) Northern girls have round face too but pretty smaller than those in other regions. Southern girls have round face too but pretty heavy kind.
