Anyone hear about this kind of stuff going on?

Here is the background. Victim, a Thai person, gets a call from a company and they ask if the person wants to get a US greencard. These companies have official looking websites and offices out in Sathorn. They collect several thousand baht to just fill out a greencard lottery form. Of course, the victim probably ends up being entered in the lottery but the chances are very slim to get chosen. These places are just taking their money to fill out the lottery form for them.

So far, I've known 2 girls to fall for this. Today, another girl I know was on MSN and she asked about this same thing and I stopped her from getting scammed.
