I don't think crap TV is the only problem in Thailand. Law enforcers are also a big problem. Just how many times have you heard raped victims going to the police and were only advised they should settle with the aggressor privately? Most of the times it's settled after the accused paid the victim a certain agree amount of "compensation". Just early this week I read crimes rate had gone up this year. An average of 14 females are raped everyday. Considering not all cases are reported. Kinda alarming isn't it.
