that's right - no judgement there. the thread started out with annoying sounds but I guess any sound depends on the circumstances! e.g. when prathom students were rehearsing their dance right outside our kindergarten window for the 20th time, I didn't find "phor haeng paendin" anything nice at all

(must have been the most typical sound of Thailand in the past month or so!)

btw, it's a nice pic. once an ice cream vendor with a motorcycle like this saved my life - it was my first time in Sukhothai and I had no idea the vans back to the city stop at sunset. got my fair share of the tune then!
