Eskimos used to tattoo on the face, so did some indian tribes in America, natives in the congo and africa,, and a lot of scar tattoos were also used in places around the world, the Chinese had some beautiful ink and scar tats and I wanted one when I was a young man and went there,They put em on with sharpened bamboo, but I just never could work up the guts to do it, or maybe not drunk enough,, But I did wake up one morning aboard shit with a terrible pain in my right arm, and when I looked , I had a tat that went from my elbo to my wrist that a shirt sleeve just barely covers, but it is just ink and needle,

I know that the guys I have talked to about tats is that the ones they have are for luck or some other VooDoo kind of thing and some were put on by Monks and supposed to be special as far as I can really understand, but you know I do not understand everything they say either, tho I spend all day some days over at the market place in the village shooting the breeze with em.
