Hi. I am not sure for the King's anthem, although I suspect it is treated in a similar way to the National anthem.

If you are outside when the National Anthem is played, them normally people stop and stand still and be respectful. Not inside. If you are doing something and cannot stop (maybe you are taking care of a baby or animal or there is some reason why it is not possible), you don't have to, but just try to be respectful when it is possible.

If foreigners aren't aware, then it doesn't matter. It is not their anthem, but it is very nice if they take part also. Thai people will be happier if the foreigners can be respectful also, but don't get upset if they do not understand.

I must admit that I always like to stand and be very respectful to the anthems. Thailand and the King are wonderful and have been so great to me. I have a deep feeling of love and respect for the country and the King.
