Air pollution is very bad all over Thailand and no one seems to care, it is bad in BKK but it is also very bad in Chiang Mai, seems worse every time I go up there and there is more automobiles and traffic congestion every year, They burn the garbage on the roadsides where it is thrown or dumped by most people.
They have been talking about unleaded gasoline for the last few years but no one seems to be doing anything about it.

Every where you look in the evenings out in the villages, everyone is burning trash on the sides of the streets and in yards, before the drought there was always brush fires in the forests and along the roads, but has been to dry for anything to grow for the last couple of years or it would be that way now as there seems to be no burning controls or they are like the traffic laws here and not enforced.
